Crossfit Hyde Park

Our CrossFit program mission statement is "better every day." We thrive on bringing people together and making friends! What makes us so different? We understand that every person is different, has different goals and has experienced different injuries and joint stress. When you enter our CrossFit program, you will undergo a movement and fitness evaluation that will allow us to tailor our program to your individual needs. Our program design is based on sound strength and conditioning principles and we constantly alter our program for individuals that need specific modifications.

Personal Training

The certifications we carry are everything from StrongFirst, NASM Corrective Exercise Specialists, Functional Diagnostic Nutrition, ACE and USAW Weightlifting Certification. Our primary focus is to help people move better and get unbelievably fit.

Primal Strength

Our primal strength program focuses on the details of improving your overall functional movement and involves mobility, stability, strength and conditioning. We highly recommend Primal Strength to those individuals who have sustained an injury, have mobility limitations and/or need more individual coaching; we therefore enforce a limit of 6 people per class. What makes the program design of Primal Strength unique is that we dedicate more time and awareness to mobility and stability training. The implements used are bands, kettlebells and TRX (rather than barbells) which reduces the complexity of the movements and allows for more attention to detail.

Primal Mobility

TPS Mobility is taught by FRC, FMS and Corrective Exercise Specialists. In this class, you will learn the most efficient way to improve your mobility. This is typically not done by stretching but rather challenging participants ability to create tension at the end range of motion. We strive to generate more active, usable motion to help your athletic performance (i.e. catch a snatch in a lower position) as well as help decrease joint pain. The more mobile a person is, the more they are able to maximize their movement potential safely, efficiently, and effectively.

Crossfit Kids

CrossFit Kids is meant to be BIG fun for all ages. Broad-Inclusive-General fun. Fun means we provide an active alternative to sedentary pursuits, which means less childhood obesity and all-around better health for our children. Further, the needs of second graders and high-school varsity wrestlers differ by degree and not kind; the program is scalable for any age or experience level and accounts for the varied maturation status one can find in a class full of kids. CrossFit Kids is designed to be minimalist; it is inexpensive and often requires little or no equipment, allowing a wide array of socioeconomic groups an opportunity to be physically fit and physically active throughout their lives.

Unleashed Barbell Club

Our barbell club specifically focuses on creating individualized program design to develop the skill and strength of Olympic Weightlifting. Our program meets every day of the week and is organized by Coach Macho Barrios and Noel Hernandez who have been coaching Olympic Weightlifting for a combined 45 years!

Primal Gymnastics

Our Gymnastics program covers beginner, intermediate and advanced gymnastics. This class teaches participants how to: improve movement efficiency through increasing mobility and stability, develop basic strength of the midline, understand leverage, advantage and technique of all kipping/momentous movements. One of the advantages of our class is that we cap it at 10 individuals so that there is always room for special programming modifications and individual attention.


EmpowerFit is our newest group fitness class! A budget-friendly class designed for the person that wants a varied and well-balanced workout in a group environment on an unlimited monthly basis. An integrated warm up with mobility work followed by strength and cardio circuits will surely leave you feeling accomplished! Fast paced, but can be customized for all fitness levels.
