Hi! I’m Michelle.

A Movement Coach.

My purpose is to help you become the best mover possible at any age and live PAIN FREE.

“Movement is the language of the body” -Ido Portal

Growing up in the Midwest, I had a few choices: become a pageant queen, detassel corn, or play sports—I chose sports! After two years of playing softball away from home, I realized my path lay in Exercise Science, leading me to the University of Tampa. There, I gained invaluable experience through an internship that taught me how to connect with and coach diverse populations, from athletes to seniors to kids. By 22, I had a full-time career and a loyal client base, many of whom are still close friends.

I pursued my Master’s at the University of South Florida while training clients before sunrise, and eventually became an Adjunct Professor at the University of Tampa for nine years. In 2016, I wanted to create a better space for my clients and launched Tampa Movement Lab, focusing on barefoot mobility training. Over eight years, we achieved great things, but my true passion remained: coaching.

After selling my business in April 2024, I realized that my greatest fulfillment comes from the connections I build with my clients. Now, I’m excited to return to my roots and focus on helping clients achieve their goals and live pain-free :)

My philosophy centers on creating a comfortable environment by prioritizing connection with clients before coaching. When addressing pain, it’s important to recognize that there’s often more beneath the surface than the immediate issue. Small, consistent changes made throughout the day can lead to significant improvements over time. By uncovering both emotional and physical stressors in a person’s life and combining those insights with our work together, I have consistently found that a client will leave each session feeling better than when they arrived.
